1935
Antoine Clavelier decided to create his own Wine House having acquired extensive experience as a cellar master for various producers. He was advised by his uncle Jean Pinot (aptly named!) , at the time a well-known vineyard owner and wine broker.
1992
For the first time in over 50 years, the wine house changes hands.
2001
From a Burgundy family and co-owner of an 18-hectare family domaine, Henri Noël Thomas takes over the House of Clavelier in partnership with Isabelle Thomas.
2005
Philippe Bouchard joins the Clavelier team as cellar master thereby succeeding Gérard Clavelier.
2006
The House acquires a wine domaine in Fixin.
